Idle Hour Landscape Ninjas

The Idle Hour Landscape Ninjas is a volunteer group of Idle Hour Neighborhood residents who will coordinate 2-3 hours of dedicated service tending the yards of neighbors in need of landscaping assistance. The work will improve the curb appeal of the neighborhood and help to minimize crime by increasing the visibility and appeal of housing stock.

The Landscape Ninjas will perform light landscaping work (e.g. mowing, trimming, weeding, raking) but are not intended to be a substitute for households that have the labor and resources to maintain their own property.

Apply for assistance:

Any Idle Hour resident who is a member of the Idle Hour Neighbors Alliance may apply for this assistance. (Any Idle Hour resident may obtain membership in the IHNA immediately by heading HERE.)

We ask that those interested in applying click HERE to fill out our application.

Once you’ve completed your application, one of the program directors will reach out to you to visit your yard, assess and schedule the work that needs to be done, and have you sign a waiver.

If you have questions or need help applying, please reach out to Mark Coyne directly at mscoyn00@gmail.com

Volunteer:

Any Idle Hour resident over the age of 12 may sign up to help out as a volunteer (all minors must be accompanied by an adult during projects).
